Prof. Dr. Tahir Öğüt

About This Project

Tahir Öğüt, who was born in Ankara in 1967, graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine with honors in 1991, and as a result of the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) in 1992, he was accepted to Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, and graduated from this faculty in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1997. He graduated as a specialist. Prof. Dr. Tahir Öğüt completed his military service for 16 months between 1998-99.

In the fall of 1999, Prof. applied for the chief assistant position at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology. Dr. Tahir Öğüt was selected among 10 candidates and started working as chief assistant in the same Department. Due to the earthquake that occurred at that time, he worked unstaffed and as a volunteer in the first 3 months of his new position.

Dr. Tahir Öğüt performed Ilizarov surgery in Italy for a month in 2001, and foot surgery in the Netherlands for 3 months in 2002. ankle He worked on surgery.

Dr. was awarded the title of Associate Professor in April 2005. Tahir Öğüt worked on foot and ankle surgery at Duke University in North Carolina, USA, for 6 months between 2006 and 2007. He received the title of Professor in 2011.

2000 yılından beri Ayak ve Ayak Bileği Cerrahisi ile ilgilenen ve her geçen sene bu alanlarda daha da yoğunlaşan Dr. Tahir Öğüt’ün pratiğinde “ayak ve ayak bileği cerrahisi” 2007 yılından itibaren tüm Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji olgularının %80-90’ını oluşturmaktadır.
